Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how The Intelligence Company AB (publ) ("TIC", "we") processes personal data in connection with Truespar: the truespar.com website, Truespar accounts, software downloads, and the live demos we host. Truespar is a research arm and brand of TIC.

1. Controller and Contact

1.1 The controller for the processing described in this policy is:

2. The Self-Hosted Products Are Out of Scope - by Design

2.1 Truespar products such as Paddock, Traverse, and Torque install on your own hardware and run inside your own network. The data they store, index, and serve stays on your infrastructure. TIC does not receive it, does not process it, and is not a processor for it. For that data, your organisation is the controller and this policy does not apply.

2.2 This policy therefore covers only the little that TIC processes itself: the website, accounts, downloads, communications, and the live demos.

3. Personal Data That TIC Processes

3.1 TIC processes:

• Account data: name, work email, and organisational affiliation, plus license keys issued to your organisation.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Server logs: technical metadata (e.g. IP address, requested URL, timestamp) generated when you use the website, download software, or use a live demo, kept for security and operations.
• Live demo content: the prompts you type into a live demo, processed transiently as described in section 6.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases

4.1 TIC processes the data in section 3.1 for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

• Providing and administering accounts, downloads and demos (performance of a contract).
• Security, operation and troubleshooting (legitimate interest).
• Communication and support (legitimate interest and performance of a contract, respectively).
• Compliance with law (legal obligation).

4.2 We do not use your data for marketing you have not asked for, and we do not sell personal data.

5. No Cookies

5.1 The truespar.com website does not use cookies. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

5.2 Preferences such as your theme choice, and the state of the live demo, are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not transmitted to TIC. The contact form uses a cookieless proof-of-work challenge instead of a tracking CAPTCHA.

6. Live Demos

6.1 Live demos (for example the Paddock live demo) run on GPU hardware that TIC operates. Prompts you submit are processed only to generate the reply, are not saved by TIC, and are not used to train models. Conversations exist only in your browser and are gone when you close or reload the page.

6.2 Do not submit personal data or confidential information to a live demo.

7. Recipients

7.1 The website, accounts, and live demos run on production infrastructure that TIC operates itself. TIC may engage providers that process data on TIC's behalf (for example email delivery); such providers are bound by data processing terms.

7.2 TIC may disclose data to public authorities where required by law.

8. Transfers to Third Countries

8.1 TIC processes the personal data described in this policy within the EU/EEA. If a transfer to a third country were to occur, it would take place with appropriate safeguards, e.g. the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention

9.1 Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose: account data for as long as the account exists, communications for as long as needed to handle the matter, and server logs for a limited period for security and operations. Data may be retained longer where required for accounting (under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act) or to handle legal claims.

10. Your Rights

10.1 You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data rectified, to have data erased, to object to or request restriction of the processing, and to request data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

11. Security

11.1 TIC implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including encryption of personal data in transit, access control, logging and monitoring, and procedures for incident response and backup. TIC is certified under ISO/IEC 27001 - see our Trust Center.

12. Changes to This Policy

12.1 TIC may update this privacy policy. The version in force from time to time is published on this page, and the date of the most recent update is stated above. In the event of material changes, TIC will inform in an appropriate manner.
